4 Delicous Banana NiceCreams

Updated: Sep 23, 2020

Bananas are great fruits to make natural, homemade ice cream with. You can use ONLY frozen bananas to make a delicious and healthy one.

But today we are going to share our recipes with you. This is how we like to “spice up” the simple banana ice cream.

For all the recipes you'll only need a food processor or a blender, some frozen bananas as the main ingredient and other fruit or nut butter of your choice. You can be creative.

So as mentioned above, making these ice creams is super easy, they are not only healthy (without a lot of artificial stuff in them…oh and tons of sugar!) but they are packed with vitamins and minerals and have a lot of health benefits to our bodies. True treasures.

Let’s learn about the ingredients!

Bananas help restore glycogen levels and help with muscle recovery. They contain several essential nutrients and provide benefits for digestion, heart health and weight loss. They are also a good source of potassium and fiber, and they help keep you full for longer.

Dates contain several vitamins and minerals, in addition to fiber and antioxidants. They are a healthy substitute for white sugar in recipes due to their sweet taste and nutrients.

Quality dark chocolate is rich in fiber, iron, magnesium, copper, manganese and a few other minerals. It is also rich in antioxidants.

Walnuts are an excellent source of antioxidants that can help fight oxidative damage in your body. They are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, may decrease inflammation, support weigh control and help lower risk of diabetes.

Coconut milk contains high levels of saturated fat, making it a very calorie-rich food. It is also rich with vitamins and minerals, but the nutritional contents vary by product. Coconut milk drinks, for example, have a different nutritional profile from canned coconut milk.
